Dr. Mark Hochman
Orthodontist, Periodontist
Long Island native Dr. Mark Hochman received his BA from Hofstra University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation from dental school in 1984, Dr. Hochman began a General Practice Residency program at Nassau County Medical Center. By the completion of the program, he was Chief Resident. Dr. Hochman is a dual trained specialist. He received his postgraduate certificates from New York University College of Dental Surgery in Periodontology in 1988 and in Orthodontics in 1998. To further his knowledge of implantology, Dr. Hochman attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earned advanced training in the placement of implants during a year long program.
Dr. Nancy Amoia
General Dentistry
A general dental practitioner, Dr. Amoia practices at both the Mid-Island (Hicksville) and Great Neck locations. From improving one’s self-esteem to warming someone’s heart, Dr. Amoia believes a smile can be life changing. She also is a strong advocate of dental health. Working for many years in a dental office as a dental assistant, Dr. Amoia followed her dream to become a dentist and received her degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1993. Following her dental education, she completed a two-year general practice residency at Goldwater-Bellevue. She has been teaching at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine since 1997 as a clinical assistant professor.
